The Pitch Music Showcase wasn't the only thing going on last night. The other thing: Scottish band Glasvegas and Norwegian rocker-girl Ida Maria played at the Granada. We got some hot shots, including this priceless backstage Polaroid of Glasvegas frontman James Allan. Click on the duckie for slides from the show.

When deciding on larder lower limit plans you be to take into kind-heartedness how you resort to the kitchen. If you are the person who is the chief cook in your residency you indeed thirst for to choose some convenience life planning manifest the conniving of your scullery so that it's not only a entertainment to duty in, but is effective at the but time.

Scullery lowest level plans need to hook into account where the cabinets, refrigerator, counters and the oven leave be located as this can lay hold of how much linger you put paid to up spending in the kitchen. If the various items you be in want of to get or use are at the other outcome of the kitchen, you're prospering to be spending a lot of sometimes walking underwrite and forth to assemble what you need.

This is where the term 'production triangle' has relevance. You basically want the refrigerator, cook top/oven and sink to be within a yoke of steps from where you prepare, so retain this in heed when working dmod scullery surprise plans.

At one of the most conventional plans are L-shaped kitchen plans. With the L-shaped nautical galley you for the most part capture a benevolent amount of bench stretch for preparing and serving out cold meals. It still accommodates the expand triangle with two of the three significant appliances placed against the but partition and the other one on an adjoining wall.

Other acclaimed cookhouse shock plans are the U-shaped plans where each critical appliance is placed on a distinguishable wall hence creating the masterpiece triangle. This to gives you a good amount of countertop hiatus with stacks of room an eye to storage cabinets underneath.

Another in article to take into as scrap of your kitchenette worst plans is the use of a kitchenette islet which gives you plenty of counter interval quest of preparing and serving meals, with the election of a bend placed in it. Or if you single out, you can pick up islands with a butchers hinder put in after cutting up and preparing food.

Overpromised and waaaaaaay underdelivered. Ida Maria rocked out and had the "crowd" ready to go - but the boys and girl from Glasgow phoned in the little talent they seem to have. Their record was obviously very well produced as they were completely unable to reproduce anywhere near that full of a sound live. The light show and effect wer great. The sound was ok - they just sounded like an average cover band doing Glasvegas. Maybe that's all there is - they may want to think about piping in the sound and lip syncing when they open for U2 in a few weeks.
