If you are a fan of rock 'n' roll of the greasy, fast, loud, "Lemmy Is God" variety, have I got a deal for you. Seems that Gearhead Records has a lot of CDs they'd like to sell you for cheap. Specifically, $3 a disc on selected items in their store.
Yeah, yeah -- the CD is a dead format. Even with shipping, this is still cheaper than iTunes, and you can play them in your car without two cables, your cigarette lighter, and ten minutes trying to find an empty FM channel.
So, go to the Gearhead store, where you can find $3 discs from the White Barons, Bob Burns & the Breakups, Wildhearts, Hellbound Glory, New Bomb Turks, Hypnomen, Hellacopters, Electric Eel Shock, and a slew of others. If you poke around, you might even find some good deals on some vinyl, as well. The sale goes from now until August 24. Get while the gettin' is good.
