Don't do anything "out of line" tonight at Starlight, warns Action News

Seems that Starlight officials are anticipating trouble at tonight's Lil Wayne concert. According to a report filed by NBC Action News reporter Victoria Swoboda, the Starlight is upping security, planning to use "different procedures."

Says the report:

The new procedures are targeted to control the crowds. Officials are concerned about cruising and they also fear that some crowd members that enjoy Lil Wayne might also be inclined to do something out of line in the park.

Hmmm... "some crowd members that enjoy Lil Wayne ..." I wonder to whom they could possibly be referring ...??? After all, I enjoy my share of Lil Wayne, and the worst thing I've ever done in a park was to make out with my high school girlfriend after school against my parents' wishes. I admit, it was way out of line.

As for the details, the report says only that parking fees will be collected "at the Meyer Boulevard entrance and the Swope Parkway and 63rd Street entrance to Swope Park." Also: "Tickets for the show also will be sold at the entrances. The Elmwood Avenue entrance to Swope Park will be blocked."
