Fun Fun Fun Fest Lineup Announced

Posted by Nick Spacek on Wed, Aug 26, 2009 at 12:00 PM

The fourth annual Fun Fun Fun Fest (which is just as much fun to type as it is to say) just announced its lineup, and rather than copy, paste, and code each and every one of the 91 acts confirmed thus far, I'll let you take a gander at this lovely flier:

Holy hell. The event takes place in Austin's Waterloo Park and runs November 7-8 , which is a pretty nice time of year to be in Texas, although one could argue that any time of year is a good time to be in Austin. Tickets are on sale right now, and if you get them before September 7, you can get them at the early bird price of $67.50 for a weekend pass. Or, you could shell out $135, and get the Pretty Important Person pass, which offers the following:

Premier access, exclusive viewing terraces, fast lines, Cold beer, Tasty Grub, PIP gifts, and a very special, limited edition Golden Ticket (yeah that's right, just like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, except with more street cred). Legit.

I want. I want that so very, very much.

1. The 'Ssion's gonna be there?
2. Liquid Swords was one of my college favorites. I wonder who the GZA is going to have on stage with him. If Meth makes it, it'd damn near be worth the price of admission to see Shadowboxin' alone.
