Funny how things work out sometimes. I hadn't seen the Bouncing Souls since 1999 until this past March, and by the time the year is over, I'll have seen them three times in nine months.
They're playing the Beaumont on November 4 with Bayside and Broadway Calls. It's their 20th anniversary tour, and so maybe they'll continue to dig into the rarely-played bag and do something old-school. I'm hoping for "Neurotic."
Check out the country-punk version of the Misfits' "Hybrid Moments" they've broken out both times I've seen them this year. It's pretty nifty. Hopefully, it's become a set staple, and we'll get to hear it in a few months.
