Swell Season Pre-Sale

Posted by Nick Spacek on Thu, Sep 10, 2009 at 9:00 AM

It took some searching, but we managed to track down the presale information for the recently announced (thanks again, Twitter!) Swell Season show at the Uptown on November 30.

Tickets go on sale to the general public tomorrow, but the pre-sale is available right here, right now. You're limited to four, so the rest of us will have a shot come payday.

It's also novel in that the tickets will be will-call only, in an effort to make sure people who buy the tickets are actually going to the show, rather than buying four, selling them, and making a tidy profit, per the ANTI- site:

Again, while this policy makes gifting of tickets more difficult, it also greatly cuts down on the number of tickets that end up in the hands of scalpers, helping ensure that fans are able to purchase tickets!

I'm still perplexed how this band continues to draw Uptown-sized crowds. The probably have the most boring live show I've ever seen.

Swell Season Fans = Ray LaMontagne fans?
