Year of a Thousand Roommates

PJ Bond, formerly of Warped Tour favorites the Color Fred, has an intriguing idea.

Bond "has given up his permanent residence, dedicating a year of his life to living on the road, bunking with friends, family, fans and even strangers, and playing as many shows in between. He chronicles his nomadic adventures on his blog."

That blog is entitled Year of a Thousand Roommates, and will chronicle Bond's tour in support of his album on The Black Numbers, You Didn't Know I Was Alphabetical, which the press release describes as "a heartfelt slice of creaky, back porch Americana tossed against a perfectly catchy pop backdrop. Still, the record has a little bit of everything, from rustic, uptempo alt-country rockers to haunting, melancholy acoustic offerings and sweetly infectious indie numbers."

Midwest tour dates start in November, but have yet to be announced.

Musicians do this all the time, they just don't usually publicize it this much.

Still, that's a mighty catchy song.
