"Seven Nation Army" Doesn't Need Any More Covers

When Kelly Clarkson and the Oak Ridge Boys have both covered a song, it can officially be retired. We don't need any more covers of this White Stripes number -- okay, kids?

Cheap Trick's "I Want You to Want Me"

any chart hit by the Beatles, Rolling Stones, or the Kinks

Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire"

any ironic '80s hair metal covers by pop-punk bands

There's a long list of "Seven Nation Army" cover on the song's Wikipedia page. Among them is my favorite, a reggae version by the Dynamics:
