Lawrence's the Dead Girls Win Contest to Open for Kiss

Sometimes the nice guys do finish first. Thanks to their fans who voted in an online contest held by local station 101 the Fox, the Dead Girls will take the stage before Kiss this Thursday, December 10, at the Sprint Center.

The voting ended last night at midnight. These were the final results.

Judging by this Twitpic, the band is clearly stoked. And possibly drunk.

I couldn't think of a more appropriate KC band unless Ultimate Fakebook were to reunite again.
