Although, really -- I only knew about half. Why? Because I write about music on the Internet, and live in comic shops and record stores. My awareness of what's popular amongst the hoi polloi is limited to what I hear in gas stations and coming out of my kids' rooms.

If you are gonna bother posting about dj related topics, which you seem to know very little about, please try to find more relevant things to post about.
Its insulting to the people that that read this blog who actually pay attention to whats going on in the electronic/hiphop/dj scenes when you constantly post garbage like this, that awful rap video you recently put up whatever other ADD mashup crap that you seem to like so much.
In your other posts you demonstrate pretty decent taste, but when it comes to electronic/hiphop/dj posts you are failing miserably. Harper readily admitted he was no expert on those scenes so he made sure he was posting something of quality or giving some dope locals much deserved shine. If you are as ignorant on these areas as your posts make you look then maybe you should ask Jason for some advice b/c he did a pretty good job, or better yet, find someone else to post here who knows whats up b/c if its just gonna be you posting here I don't think its gonna go too well.
@Jamel, i feel you to a point about the anonymous posts, but nobody was going overboard with what they were saying, they were all valid points.
Sir, the response was sarcasm. I posted the video because I felt it was of interest to some folks out there. We try and cover a diverse range of music, and not everything can appeal to everyone every time.
Hopefully, you'll keep reading. What would you like to read about? You seem distressed about the quality of my posts, but I'm uncertain as to what you're looking for.

@nick - you have the good fortune of having this space to promote music, and you decide to use it to post crap to entertain "trolls?" I don't think it's trollish to point out that a) the music is crap, and b) your "look how cool I am" style of writing is annoying in the extreme.

I love it. First you post what is for all practical purposes a list of the worst music of the year, then you throw in a little "I'm way too cool to know what the 'hoi polloi' is listening to" condescension - then why the fuck did you post it?
