Incoming: D.R.I. at the Record Bar, January 24

Posted by Nick Spacek on Tue, Jan 12, 2010 at 12:00 PM

Warning! A thrash zone will be in effect at the Record Bar on January 24. Legendary Texas thrash punks Dirty Rotten Imbeciles -- better known as D.R.I. -- will be playing their first area show in God knows how long.

The show's brought to you by Brad of the Sex Offenders, who are coincidentally one of the opening bands. It's he who's going to be losing his shirt, so you're supporting one of your own by attending the show.

Rounding out the show are Shred Scare, No Master, and Death Panel. Everything is all ages and gets started at 7:30 p.m. sharp.

@Brad: You told me in person at the Potluck Fest that you were going to lose your shirt. I was trying to get people to go who wouldn't otherwise be aware, not imply that you were in this for the money. I want your shows to be successful so you can afford to bring in more acts. Ain't nobody else who's going to take a chance on these shows.
