Popwreckoning is putting together an eight band showcase at the Beaumont Club on March 8 5. Of those eight bands, three will get slots on a showcase at this year's SXSW in Austin.
Should you want your band on the Beaumont showcase, contact Popwreckoning's Josh Hammond via e-mail at joshua@popwreckoning.com. The show will be 18 and up, with tickets priced at $10. We'll let you know what bands are playing as soon as they're announced.
*Update, 5:23 p.m.* Just got off the phone with Mr. Hammond, and it appears that the showcase will in fact be six bands, instead of the originally announced. This will allow bands to have longer than the 25 minutes or so they would've had otherwise.
