Punk rock-inspired rapper P.O.S. starts his new tour at the Jackpot on Tuesday, February 2. P.O.S. ought to have a lot of new rhymes, as he's supposed to have recently started recording a new album with Astronautalis.
Also on the bill are Grieves with Budo, and Dessa. Kansas City's Steddy P opens the show, which is 18 and over and runs $10.
How fucking cool is it that P.O.S. samples the Bouncing Souls? It's nice to see "legitmate" hip-hop performers dipping into punk rock, as opposed to the usual nerdcore lifts (see MC Chris' "DQ Blizzard," which samples not only Blink 182's "Dysentery Gary" and Reggie & the Full Effect's "Your Boyfriend Hates Me").
