As if the 1819 Central space wasn't amazing enough, what with the gallery and Duane Trower's Weights + Measures Soundlab, the address will add a guitar shop next month.
Called the Guitar Syndicate, it is "a brand new Guitar Boutique, Specialty Effects and Music Accessories showcase[...]specializing in unique guitars, mandolins, banjos, effects pedals, amps, accessories and more."
As an incentive to get you interested in them before they open, the store's website has been playing host to weekly guitar giveaways. If you enter this week, there's a chance to win a Martin Backpacker, which is a $170 guitar. You don't have to live in the area to win, so even you folks in Alabama, Arizona, and Nevada can win (coincidentally, the last three winners' live in those states).
