Free single Fridays from Trucker

Posted by Nick Spacek on Mon, Feb 22, 2010 at 12:00 PM

Every third Friday of the month seems like an oddly arbitrary choice of a day. However, it's on that day every month of 2010 that Lawrence country rock band Trucker will release a free single.

The way it works is like so: all tracks are recorded and produced by Trucker at the band's Dick Jack Ed recording studio, "then handed off to j.hall and Brad Blackwood for final mixing and mastering." They're three tracks in, with the series having kicked off at the tail end of December. The current song, "Such A Girl," came out this past Friday, February 19.

You can find the three tracks released thus far on the band's website, as well as everything the band has ever recorded -- all for free. Of course, if you like what you hear, you can always throw something in the tip jar. It'll be much appreciated.
