David Seume's video for "Will Ya Be My Friend" will have an honest-to-goodness, legitimate premier. Not content with sending an e-mail, tweet, or Facebook message, Seume is debuting the video at the Brick on Friday, March 12. After the video debuts at 10:00 p.m., Seume and some friends yet to be determined will then play a show.
You can watch a one-minute trailer for "Will Ya Be My Friend" -- produced by local designer DJG and his NY pal PJC -- below. It's gorgeous, and reminds me a lot of Rilo Kiley's "It's A Hit" video, with the whole stop-motion thing it's got going on.
