Being as how we posted the Lawrence High lip dub of "Kids In America," it's only fair that we head across town for Free State's entry into the competition. While also going with a pretty retro choice (in this case, Earth Wind & Fire's "Let's Groove"), they one-up the stakes by doing everything backward.
If you poke around online, you can discover that there's been a fairly epic hacking battle back and forth to change the audio and information on a pretty regular basis. Seems that the cross-town rivalry doesn't just exist on the sports field.
In the interest of full disclosure, I will say that my son is a sophomore at Free State. In spite of that, I'll also be honest and say that while this is epic and impressive, it cannot hold a candle to the greatest backwards video of all time -- namely, "Drop" by the Pharcyde.
