In order to tide you over until Aloe Park drops via Datura Records next month on April 20, Approach is offering up a free download.

SweetKnuckleJunction Season 1 is "a free mixtape download to serve as a reintroduction for the public before his new album arrives" with "new material seasoned with unreleased goodies and the classics that make you wanna move."

Take a listen to "The Watermark" featuring Reggie B in the video below. If you like it, that number's on the mixtape, along with 13 other jams.

Hi Nick!

Firstly, I would like to apologize for the heated comment. I mean no disrespect to the pitch, as you guys typically do a great job reporting on all facets of KC life.

I understand that the initial information you received prior to writing this article may not have been there in it's entirety, so it is not fair to discredit you as such.

However, the people in our scene grind equally as hard as you guys to help uplift our culture, and when credit isn't properly attributed people feel somewhat disrespected.

Thank you for reporting on this matter, and we hope to see more posts like this in the future.

Respectfully,

Magic8

While I would like to apologize for not crediting this as a co-release between Indyground and Datura, this post went up a full 32 hours prior to that press release hitting my inbox, which I received this afternoon. The quotes in the e-mail which I received had no speaker to which they were attributed. Hence, they were delineated as being someone else's work, yet unattributed to a particular speaker.

IndyGround sent you THE official press release for SweetKnuckleJunction Season 1.

Nowhere in this article is it mentioned that IndyGround is co-releasing this album. Really? Also, you should credit Steddy P. for the quote you stole from him. Not to mention that you gave NO CREDIT to the album artist, Magic8, or the creator of the video, Pandorium Media.

Please re-read the information that was sent to you and correct this article as such.

Get your information right.

Love,

Magic8
