Q&A: Junior Marvin of the Original Wailers

Posted by Nick Spacek on Wed, Mar 17, 2010 at 12:00 PM

Junior Marvin joined Bob Marley's backing band, the Wailers, in the late 1970s. Along with fellow former Wailer, Al Anderson, Marvin tours as part of the Original Wailers. Marvin was kind enough to speak with Wayward Blog by phone from London, in advance of the Original Wailers' show at the Voodoo Lounge on Friday, March 26.

He talks about his work with Marley and the band's upcoming album, Justice, as well as the difference between the Original Wailers and the Wailers Band with Aston "Family Man" Barrett.
