For the first Friday artwalk on May 7, Monta will be performing a two hour plus performance from 7:00-9:30 p.m. at the Czar Bar as part of the club's dinner show event series. The band will feature new drummer, Bree Plaster (Ruskin Quartet), and "range from '60s Bollywood and Italian Cinema to Boards of Canada meets futurebeat freakout soul music."
Hector Casanova (of the amazing Screamland, a comic which you should be reading) will paint music-inspired art during the performance and attendees will have a chance to win the raffled art piece and a Monta music bundle.
