Talib Kweli at the Midland: Postponed

Posted by Elke Mermis on Mon, May 10, 2010 at 10:01 AM

Tonight's show at the Midland with Talib Kweli and Hi-Tek has been officially moved to June 17. The Midland assures fans that all previously purchased tickets will be honored at that location, at the newly scheduled date.
We can't find any reason for the postponement online. In the meantime, since you've already waited ten years to hear Revolutions Per Minute live (the album is released on May 18), Kweli figures your impatient ass can wait one more month until he stops by Kansas City again.

Edit 11:04 AM: Via Talib Kweli's twitter, we now see that he has been detained by the gigantic, lightning-spouting volcano that has been screwing up airlines across the Atlantic.

"Impatient ass" is a curious choice of words to use regarding a performer who kept his fans waiting several HOURS at Crossroads last year. Why? Because he simply didn't feel like going on. I'm not kidding.
