From the excellent ska/reggae blog Marco On the Bass comes the news that Kansas City's kings of reggae, the Blue Riddim Band, are releasing their first album in 25 years. It's called Tribute, and will come out this summer on the band's own Riddim Records.
In addition to this new album, the band has plans to re-release their old material. You can hear two tracks off the new record (which is all the Blue Riddim Band's take on classic tunes) with the widget below. You can next catch the group at the Record Bar on Friday, June 18.
