Guitar Syndicate makes front page of the Wall Street Journal

The Guitar Syndicate, Inc., Scott Burnett and Ralph Perta's boutique guitar and accessories shop at 1819 Central in the Crossroads, is receiving a healthy amount of national attention today after being featured prominently in a front-page Wall Street Journal article about e-commerce on social-media sites.
Burnett and Perta use an e-commerce shopping cart application that allows visitors to purchase gear directly from Guitar Syndicate's Facebook page -- an approach the Journal views as a potentially revolutionary one in terms of direct sales in the digital age. The article also makes note of Guitar Syndicate's prize giveaways, which have helped drive traffic to their Facebook page and increased sales a full 17 percent in the past month and a half.
