Just a few months fresh out of the clink,
T.I. dropped
Fuck a Mixtape, a collaboration with DJ Drama and DJ MLK that's part of the Gangsta Grillz series. Apart from the skits and dialogue tracks -- where Tip's famous non-rapper friends like Jamie Foxx, Lil Duval, and Kevin Hart endlessly feign surprise and confusion that T.I. has released a mixtape -- there are enough jams to tide you over until August, when
King Uncaged, his first proper post-prison album, comes out. No shortage of heavy-hitters on this tape, either: Swizz Beatz and Timbaland produce, and Lil Wayne, Keri Hilson, and Young Jeezy guest. Download it free
here.
Also on Friday,
XXL premiered Raekwon's latest mixtape,
Brinks Boyz Presents: Cocainism Vol. 2. The Wu-Tanger's been riding high of late, last year's long-awaited
Only Built 4 Cuban Linx...Pt. II having been well-received
by critics and fans. Mobb Deep is featured on a track on
Cocainism Vol. 2, which is pretty sweet. Grab it at
XXL.
