RecordBar's got a good night planned for everyone. Sonic Spectrum music trivia at 7 p.m., then a couple of Portland imports. The Soft Tags list R.E.M. and the Velvet Underground as influences on their Myspace page, and, yep, I definitely hear both of those in there. The Prids' post-punk should jibe nicely with local openers Thee Water Moccasins, which features dudes from Roman Numerals and Olympic Size. 

In Lawrence, you've got James Christos at the Jackpot.
