Davey's Uptown Ramblers Club turns 60

​Davey's Uptown Ramblers Club is a grizzled old dive. Well, it turns out, the club has actually been around 60 fucking years. Clearly, this is why it's one of the few bars that's legit enough to have the word "ramblers" in its title. 

The bar opened on Broadway in 1928 (!!!) but it's been boozing in its current location on 34th and Main since 1950. 

Tonight, catch the Grisly Hand, Switchitter, and the Fountain City Ramblers at Davey's Uptown tonight in celebration of the band's 60th anniversary party weekend. You can also see Trampled By Turtles and Brother Trucker on Saturday.
