Another big weekend in Possum Trot, everybody. Particularly tonight -- there are just way too many excellent shows tonight. It is painful to narrow it down! But narrow it down we must!

FRIDAY

Tool at Sprint Center.

Cure tribute band Magfuckingnificent is at Czar Bar, where they'll perform the Pornography album in its entirety, plus other mope-rock jams from Robert Smith & Co.

Cheeky St. Louis band Jumbling Towers are at RecordBar with Lawrence's Mammoth Life.

Hidden Pictures and Sons of Great Dane are at the Brick.

Davey's Uptown turns 60 years old, with Grisly Hand, Switchitter, and Fountain City Ramblers.

And the benefit for the Kansas City Hip-Hop Academy is at Riot Room with Les Izmore, Deep Thinkers, Negro Sco, more.

SATURDAY

Roger Daltrey of Who fame at the Uptown.

My boy Buble at Sprint Center.

The Donkey Show at Crosstown is really where it's, though.

Unless you're in Lawrence, in which case Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears' 60s-inspired blues and soul at the Bottleneck (with opener Hacienda) is a fine option.

SUNDAY

Tim McGraw at Sprint Center.

Don't see a whole lot else happening Sunday. Maybe I'm missing something good? Please correct me in the comments.

See you Monday!
