Two of the area's finest champions of the arts, the Midwest Music Foundation and Review Publishing, are teaming up in a few weeks for a special evening that'll pair exactly what you'd think: local music and local visual arts.
Called "We Are Synaesthetic," the event will feature sixteen local-ish artists displaying work inspired by, interpretive of, or representational of music. Original works will be for sale, and all proceeds go to the two organizations. Dead Voices, Atlantic Fadeout, and the Wires will all play sets. There will be refreshments, which I think means wine and beer.
It's happening Friday, July 16, at the Living Room (2nd floor, 1818 McGee), which is the art space that used to house the Pearl Gallery.

Thanks for the press!
Yes, refreshments means wine and beer (by donation). Boulevard is generously sponsoring our beer and I am still working on wine, but we will have it. In addition, Fresher than Fresh snowcones will be there to cool you off with their delicious all natural snowcones. (http://www.ftfsnowcones.com/)
We will also have some tasty treats being provided by a local chef and some of our gourmet volunteers.
More info should soon be available at:

Thanks for your support!
Additions and Correction: Just wanted to add that Fresher than Fresh Snow Cones will be there and Boulevard has generously donated beer for the event. There will also be live painting. Original works will be for sale, but only 30% of the proceeds go to benefit MMF and Review. We will also have prints of the artists' works for sale and 100% of THOSE proceeds will go to benefit both organizations.
