James Christos checks in from the road, where he's going to be taking a short 4th of July holiday -- from journaling, not from kicking ass, of course.
What's the deal KC!? Well the first leg of the tour has been crazy. Rocked shows, sold music, drank for free, lost about 7lbs, acquired an addiction to Roaring Lion, ventured into Mexico (where I'll be doing a spot date in September), made crazy connects in every town, pushed my brother further into the depths of the groupie gorge, climbed mountains, traveled canyons...and repped the town like no other!
Now I'm off to New York for a few meetings between dates. Funny how that worked out. I'll be back with more tour post July 5, when I hit Chicago. Aaaaahhh Chicago, apparently the Juarez of the U.S.. I gotta stop going to these places. Yeah right! I'd rather visit hell on earth than take a vacation in Pleasantville. Flowers grow from dirt, not candy coated mountain tops.
I had about 48 hours in Kansas City, so I stopped by the Riot Room. I mention that to say this...The direction my music has taken in the last year and a half has been greatly encouraged and even influenced by Tim and Dallas. They have provided a place for me to mold my craft without judgment of failure or success. And these opportunities have created a beast (I was already one guess, it just made me hungrier and bigger).
