5 reasons to follow Kanye West on Twitter

If you don't follow him, Kanye might break his fucking MacBook Air!
1. Because it's possible that the only reason that Twitter -- the pinnacle of self-expression for self-obsessed people who live in a world they believe is orchestrated like their own personal music video -- was created in the first place was for Kanye West, who may have the largest ego in popular music at the moment. (Besides, ahem, other people who we may have mentioned on here recently.)
2. Because he is funny, self-deprecating and self-aware enough to know this.

3. Because, even after joining Twitter a mere 24 hours ago, Kanye has already gotten 260,305 followers, at 80 followers a second. Can you afford to not join in on the trend? Psh.
4. Because he has fucking great taste.
