Of course, the Phelps family (a.k.a. the Westboro Baptist Church) was protesting Lady Gaga's show at the Sprint Center last night. But here's a video of 96.5 The Buzz's openly gay radio host, Scoops, lookin' fine in pleather and a bra, kissing Megan Phelps-Roper on the cheek. What?
Looks like Scoops and the WBC clan are somehow buddies. After scoring a high-five from a WBC chick, Scoops hugs Phelps-Roper (who our own Peter Rugg dubbed "The Weird Al of Hate") and begins singing along to the Phelps' words to the "Poker Face" parody. He then invites them to the afterparty at the Monaco (formerly known as the Mint, where Gaga performed following the New Kids on the Block tour in 2008).
So, what's the deal? Are the Phelps vying for more media attention, via Scoops? Or are they actually Phriends?

"Do you even listen to the radio? "
People still listen to morning zoo shows???? LMAO.
I know Megan on twitter, we've talked issues numerous times. I'm a queer Levayian who is openly against religion. If there is one thing I can say about Megan Phelps, it's that as anti gay as she is, unlike other wbc members, she's actually open to conversing with ANYONE. And she's oddly polite about it. I know she thinks I'm an evil hellbound perv, and she knows how I feel about the wbc, and yet we still have awesome talks.
On top of that, I know I'm not the only queer/non christian that she talks to. She's never tried to convert anyone to join the wbc, she just seems to enjoy debating/discussing with different people.
@Elke Yes, it all has been. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...
