Dead Girls do Cheap Trick at Record Bar this weekend!

The guys in Dead Girls know their classic rock inside and out --  they opened for fuckin' Kiss! -- and on Saturday, most of them (all of them?) will be performing as Heaven Tonight, a Cheap Trick tribute band. The show's at Record Bar and features special guest Hipshot Killer. 

And of course, don't miss the Dead Girls on Sunday at the Uptown, where they're one of the featured bands at this cool event called the Pitch Music Awards.

CHEAP TRICK as in the 1970's and early 1980's? I remember little UFB cousins Billy and Nicky were pretty big fans of that band. Oddly enough, theirs is one of the few CD's that survived our 2007 floods. I think I'll go dig it out right now. DEAD GIRLS will be great at the tribute, wish I could be there. Rock On!

Thanks for the props! Quick clarification: Half The Dead Girls will be performing--the other half will be there but just to enjoy the rock!
J.D. Warnock (former Creature Comforts and current member of Stone in Love and Summer Breeze) and Peter Buxton (local guitarist/engineer extraordinaire) will be the Zander/Neilsen combo!
