We like these guys -- they're from Missouri! Hoo-aaa. Ha Ha Tonka has recently been on the road with fellow alt-country movers and shakers Murder By Death and Langhorne Slim. They're swinging back through these parts on August 28, when they're headlining a date at the Replay Lounge. And, as a random non-sequitur, bassist, Luke Long, divulged this time-worn nugget of wisdom in the band's newsletter:
Life is always better with your shirt off. When backed into the corner, remove the cloth from thine back. It makes the good great, and the bad better. P.S.: This is not gender specific.
