The Smashing Pumpkins of yore.
Remember that Smashing Pumpkins incoming blurb I posted yesterday? Yup, turns out that's the headliner for 2010's Buzz Beach Ball, on September 25 at Sandstone.
The lineup for this incarnation of 96.5 The Buzz's annual mini-festival includes: Smashing Pumpkins, Cake (the Buzz's old standby), Anberlin, Limousines, Civil Twilight, AM Taxi, The Beautiful Bodies (who are back to support a brand-spanking-new album), A Silent Film and Dreams Are for Rookies (another local dreamy pop act).
The pre-sale starts on August 20 -- hey, that's today. Get the password after the jump.
The pre-sale runs today through August 22 at 11:59 PM. The password is: BEACHBALL
For everyone else, tickets go on sale on Monday, August 23, at 10:00 AM.
