Cut my inbox into pieces! It's the Monsters of Annihilation Tour!
I think I received between five to seven e-mails this week regarding the triumphant return of Papa Roach to Kansas City. This time around they are promoting their latest album, Time for Annihilation, which drops today.
The NorCal former-nu-metal-now-just-rock band will be at the Midland with Skillet, Trapt and My Darkest Days on October 17. Tickets for this all-ages affair go on sale tomorrow and will cost between $19.89 and $28.50.
More after the jump.
I have to admit that as a youngster, I thought Gallagher's 1983 stand-up act, The Maddest was high-larious. When he brought out the gigantic couch-trampoline and pulled out a life-size potato chip and flip-flop before the smashing began... Oh, snap! Don't even get me started!
He's be at Stanford's Comedy Club in the Legends on October 5 and 6. A quick visit to his website unearthed these comedic gems: "Why do girls put a butterfly over their butt? There's no nectar down there." and "How does a slut feel? Whore-a-ble."
Let's just say with jokes like that, he probably won't be invited to any Craig Glazer-Hearne Christopher-Tony Botello afterparties anytime soon.
Tickets are $18, $25, $32 and $50 depending on how close you want to sit to the stage and get covered with whatever shit he decides to smash. The show is 18-and-over.
