Cowboy Indian Bear has added a new face to its lineup: Lawrence crooner Katlyn Conroy. Though she's recorded with the band in the past -- like on its recent album, Each Other All The Time -- now, her beautiful voice will be a permanent feature on the indie-pop group's roster.
Here's what the band has to say about adding Conroy to the band's chemistry:
Cowboy Indian Bear would like to formally announce the addition of our newest member, Katlyn Conroy. We're more than thrilled to have her join our ranks and share her immense wealth of talent with us. Please stay tuned as we've already begun writing and recording new material. Needless to say, the best is yet to come.
We'd also like to take a second to thank all of you for supporting us with your coverage and accolades throughout the last couple years. It's been really gratifying to have our work recognized and shared through all your great publications and we really appreciate all that you've done to help spread our music around the Midwest.
See you on the other side,
Cowboy Indian Bear
While we're sad we won't get to see Conroy's solo project -- Katlyn Conroy and the Wild and Wooly -- around town as often as we'd like, but this is a pretty rad decision on both parties' ends. Congratulations, Katlyn.
