It is upon us. The Monsters of Yacht sail into Starlight on Saturday. The excitement borders on the perverse.

What will they play? On our conference call, McDonald mentioned his admiration for Fagen's solo debut, The Nightfly, which, oh my god that album is incredible. So that will be taken as a hint. But what else? I've compiled videos for five songs -- reasonable songs, not including hail-mary deep cuts from The Royal Scam -- I'm pining for.

Many of these will require female backup singers, which I'm assuming they're bringing along on the tour.

"I.G.Y.," from Fagen's The Nightfly. I would faint if they opened with this.

"Georgia," from Scaggs' Silk Degrees. 'Nuff said.

"I Keep Forgetting," from McDonald's If That's What It Takes. Seems like a safe bet but you never know.

"Black Cow," from Steely Dan, Aja. Can't decide if the existence of "Uptown Baby" makes this more or less likely.

"Lowdown," from Scaggs' Silk Degrees. I know this song is popular, but I still think it's crazy underrated.

Look for the review Monday!

"Ya Mo Be There" and "Ride Like the Wind" for McDonald.
Fagen maybe "Bodhisattva" or "Babylon Sisters."
Boz can do what he likes, anyone named Boz you shouldn't tell what to do.
