Lady Gaga sent a video letter to the U.S. Senate?

Yes, Lady Gaga has sent a video letter to the U.S. Senate, on the subject of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" -- our country's controversial (archaic) policy towards with gays in the military. 

It's shot in black and white and she's wearing a coat and tie, which I think is supposed to make her look professional? Anyway, she makes some good points. Then she calls the office of Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and it gets uncomfortable. Watch it.

It's really nice that she supports repealing of the don't ask don't tell policy, but if I was gay and in the military I wouldn't want this nutjob being the spokesperson for my cause.
