Marilyn Manson watches a lot of TV. Who knew?
Apparently, the shock-rocker is a creeper-level fan of what is clearly the best show on television: Eastbound & Down. (I'm a music writer, not a film critic, and admittedly have terrible taste in television. Decry my credibility as you wish.)

Apparently, Manson has been repeating entire chunks of dialogue in public, and frequently dresses up like the show's lead (awesome) character, Kenny Powers. (See right.)

Now, he wants to be on the show, too.

MTV News reports that Manson's obsession has gone so far that he's openly campaigning for a part on the show, telling them he'd most like to play Kenny's assistant Stevie -- a role already filled by actor Steve Little, obviously. McBride offered, "I imagine he could just cut Steve Little's flesh off and wear it, and just kind of be him." But informed of Manson's wish, creator Jody Hill responded more seriously that he'd "love that. He can play his brother," a sentiment that executive producers Will Ferrell and Adam McKay echoed. So this could actually happen.

Imagine! Somewhere out there, Manson is quoting one of these snippets of dialogue right now.
