Sure, the Record Bar is a first-rate music venue. But what is it like to urinate inside its walls?
Where We Pee is a weekly look at the excretory facilities of the music venues and cool-kid hangouts around town.
The mens' room layout is unusual.
There's a urinal back there in the left corner. This is a great urinal because it's naturally private; the diagonal wall protrudes to the point where when you walk into the restroom, you usually can't even tell if anybody's back there. It's probably designed this way because of load-bearing walls or something, but it feels very modern.
Here's the urinal.
Then there's a private stall. You can take a relatively comfortable shit in here. Not a lot of live music venues offer that.
And there are two framed, very sexy Ohio Players posters on the walls alongside the show flyers.
Where We Pee says: This is an above-average venue for urinating and defecating.
