Brandon Flowers bringing Vegas to Lawrence

Brandon Flowers, is bringing his Viva Las Vegas-themed solo catalog to Liberty Hall on October 29 November 20. His latest, Flamingo, is an effort to tide over Killers fans during the band's indefinite hiatus (which began in January of this year, following the band's world tour). Flamingo is chock-full of bad gambling puns and velveteen cheesiness more ostentatious than a Vegas stage show; but, if you've stuck with the Killers this far, you probably wouldn't expect anything less. 

Here's a video for his new single, "Crossfire," which is about -- hey! -- being caught in the crossfire! Watch, as a hot girl saves Brandon Flowers when he's held hostage three different times.

He's in Lawrence on Nov 20, actually, not Oct. 29.
