Over the past few weeks,
Halcyon Diversified Trading shopkeeper Rod Peal has been uploading
Facebook photos of some sweet vintage band tees for sale at his store. I want them all to myself, but unfortunately I am very particular about the way t-shirts fit me -- collar width is important! -- and so I share this information with you.
This Friday from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., Peal's hosting an in-store performance/art showing, which would be a fine time to swing by and pick up one of these rad shirts.
Painting by Betsy Greenwood, and music from John Dowey, of the band Manchild. Facebook event page
here. And now, the shirts. (Note: No guarantee they'll still be in stock Friday. Duh.)
Circle Jerks. Yes please.
Descendents tour shirt circa 1987. That's just a perfect design right there. Peal's also got some All shirts.
Not the most exciting shirt, and it looks like it might fit a little weird, but it's legit old. Maybe there's design on the back?
Not technically vintage, but Sunn O))) is so ferociously scary and loud that you'd have to be the biggest pussy in the world not to feel tough wearing this.
A Brazilian hardcore band whose name translates to "Basement Rats." What more could you possibly ask for from a t-shirt?
