The Prince of Darkness is pissed at the Westboro Baptist Church

performed a version of Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train" in response to a question by the press. And the Prince of Darkness isn't too happy about it.

"I am sickened and disgusted by the use of 'Crazy Train' to promote messages of hate and evil by a 'church,'" said Ozzy in a press release, referring to the iconic song off 1980's Blizzard of Ozz. (Maybe he can give Kansas City a piece of his mind when he comes here with Slash, on January 22, to the Sprint Center.)

Usually, when the Phelps family reappropriates songs, they're really, really bad parodies filled with hate-filled lyrics. This time, they used Ozzy's song, straight-up. Hmmm. Could Shirley Phelps-Roper possibly be...a metal fan?

We can only hope.

You're all wasting your time mentioning Christ or compassion to these people...the WBC NEVER mentions Jesus Christ or anything to ever be found in the New Testament. I doubt they've ever read it. They quote hardcore, violent Old Testament verse that was only ever intended as parable and metaphor fr what the New Testament has to say anyway. They're clueless.

Having stood next to these people in person, all I can say is that "the lights are on, but no one is home". Actually, I'm not sure it's lights that are on - he house may actually be on fire.

Either way, they continue to amaze me with their vitriolic, fringe interpretation of Christianity. It would be almost be funny if it wasn't so horribly, horribly cruel and sad.

People.....
The simple truth is this. By attacking the people in which you have a disagreement with you too are sinning. A sin is a sin is a sin. Do not be pressured or allow someones message whatever it may be to slow you down. Life on earth we are all sinners and I dont believe anyone believes otherwise. Let us all share in Gods love and be wary of preaching hate both for a cause and against it.

God bless

Wow Shirley, you ARE venomous!!!! Think about this,CHRISTIAN: when asked What is the greatest commandment? Jesus replied: " The first is: Love God with all your heart, soul and mind. The second is: Love your NEIGHBOR as you love yourself" (OMG, a HOMO could be living right next to me, do I have to love HIM?).(Matt 22:37-39; Rom 13:8-10) Aren't you supposed to pursue LOVE instead of HATE?(1Cor 14:1) Where is your MERCY?(Matt 5:7; Mark 11:25) Why do you speak INJURIOUSLY of others?(Titus 3:2)What about PEACE? YOU sow hate and discontent.(Heb 12:14; Rom 12:18; Prov10:12) What about these things? Or, are you EXEMPTED from them? Why don't you show some COMPASSION for a dead persons FAMILY? On WHAT do you base your claim to be a follower of CHRIST??? I pray that God forgives you and your ilk your hatred and stupidity. Hitler MURDERED 6 MILLION people; by your actions, you have shown the whole world that you would have proudly worn his SWASTIKA.

Shirley, Your Church ought to be a ashamed of itself. How can you call yourselves Christian do this kind of preaching so much hate! .. Jesus told us to spread the message of love and not hate!. Why are you all doing this? Why would you spread hatered, anger, and hurt when Christ called us as disciples to spread healing, and love! And the message of Christ. Instead of carrying signs about how everyone is hated.. Maybe you all ought to spend some real time Rebuking Satan, out of your lives and hatred out of your hearts.

If you are going to hate on a song, you should at least know the words you hate:

Amazing, that's how God rolls
Billions of people, drowning in woes
Crazy, it's much too late
To speak of God's love
When you've brought on His hate

Cryin' 'bout your feelings
For your sin, no shame
You're going straight to hell on a crazy train
You're going straight to hell on a crazy train

Let's go!

You've listened to preachers
Your leaders are fools
Your raping false prophets
Who make their own rules
The Beast is ascending
To rule and control
The media sells it
And you pay the toll

This nation God's deceiving
He'll torment you in flames
You're going straight to hell on a crazy train
You're going straight to hell on a crazy train

We've told you your destruction's imminent
You will not listen to our words

Heirs of God's fury
That's what's left to come
Through filthy rebellion
God has made you numb
Crazy, the pride that you wear
God's wrath will be brutal
He will say what is fair

God has not been sleeping
He's gonna bring the pain
It's time for your final ride on this crazy train
Your final stop is hell on this crazy train

The part we whipped out for the nations media at the Supreme Court was this:

Cryin' 'bout your feelings
For your sin, no shame
You're going straight to hell on a crazy train

We did that because once again, some rebel against God with NO cause came at us with the lame and light blather about - Have you no compassion for the FEEEEEELINGS of the dead rebels family? You have turned this nation into a nation of squally girls with all that nonsense. Man up, read the Word of God and drill down this reality, to wit: When God destroyed Sodom, he didn't mention ONE WORD about their feelings. Further, he didn't mention ONE WORD about the feelings of the 16 Billion or so rebels he sent straight to hell in Noah's flood.

You dummies need to read 2Kings 17 and see the way God viewed his destruction of the 10 northern tribes! HORRIBLE slaughter, but NOT ONE WORD about emotions, just some plain talk about God told you to OBEY and you didn't.

Ciao
Shirley
