The Ssion crew -- and all its friends -- are climbing the ladder to fame, one delightfully sleazy project at a time. Cody Critcheloe art-directed a Wizard Of Oz-themed video for Peaches not too long ago; now, he's signed on outlandish fashion maven Peggy Noland for a new video for the Gossip.

The Plog's Ben Palosaari has the scoop.

History tells us that when Ssion singer and filmmaker Cody Critcheloe and designer to the indy stars Peggy Noland team up to make a music video, it will be colorful, probably a little strange, and -- like it or not -- impossible to turn away from.

Critcheloe directed Gossip's new video for "Men In Love" (with Noland styling it), which was released this week, and it's exactly what you would expect. Shot one September day in Los Angeles, the video shows lead singer Beth Ditto in impeccable Noland-designed dresses, piloting the party bus from hell. Behind Ditto, her bandmates play the catchy track while riders engage in a variety of unsavory behaviors, including puking and pissing.
