Jazz great Dave Brubeck undergoes surgery

Earlier this season, the Folly announced that jazz piano great Dave Brubeck would be appearing in concert at nearly 90 years old. The show was canceled when Brubeck began experiencing fatigue and dizziness at home, before embarking on tour. 


Earlier this week, Brubeck underwent surgery to install a pacemaker. He's doing well now, and expects to continue touring in November. (Hopefully, he'll schedule another Kansas City date on his next tour.)
