It's one of those when-it-rains-it-pours weekends in Kansas City. There's a few shows going on Friday night -- Bleach Bloodz at the Blarney Stone ought to be a rager -- but Saturday's the night.

(Yes, I am talking about Carrie Underwood at Sprint Center, but also other things, too!)

SATURDAY:

Canadian indie-rock kids Born Ruffians are at Riot Room. They have this great song called "What to Say" that I always feel like listening to.

The ACB's, the Prids and Cowboy Indian Bear are at Crosstown Station. The ACB's will be premiering their video for "Boy Like Me" at the show

The Vortex of Sound show, with Be/Non and Monta At Odds, is at Record Bar.

Adam Lee & the Dead Horse Sound Company's pre-record release, where you can pick up some free tunes, is at Davey's.

And the KKFI benefit show, with Howard Iceberg, Ricky Dean Sinatra and the Mahoots, is at Knuckleheads.

So get out there, fools!
