In the late 1990s, back when
Ultimate Fakebook did
not rhyme with the world's most popular social networking site, the Manhattan, KS band released some much-loved power-pop albums.
The first of those was
Electric Kissing Parties, and yesterday
Rocket Heart Records announced that it's reissuing it on vinyl -- a limited pressing of 500. Hooray! But wait, there's more!
The new vinyl will also feature an exclusive bonus track "Rocket Heart's On Fire," a song recorded around the time
Electric Kissing Parties was made. And the band has a
Kickstarter going, with some special limited-edition types of packages available for superfans.
Also! Ultimate Fakebook has announced four winter tour dates, including a December 23 date at the RecordBar and a New Years' Eve performance at the Little Apple in Manhattan, KS. More info on everything
here.
