In the late 1990s, back when Ultimate Fakebook did not rhyme with the world's most popular social networking site, the Manhattan, KS band released some much-loved power-pop albums.

The first of those was Electric Kissing Parties, and yesterday Rocket Heart Records announced that it's reissuing it on vinyl -- a limited pressing of 500. Hooray! But wait, there's more!

The new vinyl will also feature an exclusive bonus track "Rocket Heart's On Fire," a song recorded around the time Electric Kissing Parties was made. And the band has a Kickstarter going, with some special limited-edition types of packages available for superfans.

Also! Ultimate Fakebook has announced four winter tour dates, including a December 23 date at the RecordBar and a New Years' Eve performance at the Little Apple in Manhattan, KS. More info on everything here

Are you still craving more UFB content? Wayward Blog contributor Nick Spacek has an interview with Rocket Heart cofounder Colby Blanton on his blog, here, that touches on the UFB release.
