Fleet Foxes get the dubstep treatment courtesy of Barbaric Merits

Barbaric Merits, the local DJ duo that was crowned champions at the 2010 Beat Battle at RecordBar, have a solid track record of clever remixes. Their "Pants on the Ground" remix from earlier this year comes to mind, albeit in a time-capsule type of way. 

Yesterday, they released a dubstep remix of the Fleet Foxes tune "Mykonos" that I like better than the original. Do you want to stream and/or download it? You can! Follow me!

Thanks for the look. The remix surprisingly just finished at #8 on Hype Machine's most favorited tracks! (Right next to Rick Ross, Kid Cudi, and Black Keys, lol). Not bad for some Kansas City boys =)
