Austin, Texas doom metal ban, the Sword has rescheduled its show from October 24 at RecordBar, after officially canceling all of its tour dates earlier in the month when drummer Trivett Wingo left the band because he could no longer bring the rock.
As Wingo put it:
After nearly seven years and some of the most amazing adventures of a lifetime, I have arrived at a place where I am physically and emotionally unable to continue on as part of The Sword...I have reached a point where I just can't do this anymore.
Wingo has already been replaced with Kevin Fender. He and the rest of the band will be appearing with Karma to Burn for a stoner rock explosion not to be forgotten on Wednesday, December 15 at 9 p.m. This show will be 18+.
