The Grande Granada Gala II (gah, alliteration!) is happening on November 13. Its goal is to "push the limits of consciousness." Even if mind-expansion isn't your bag, live art and music might be.
Here's what the press release says:
Psychedelic funk, Conscious Hip Hop, and Live Painters. The Granada hosts a gathering of the genres and cultures for one night of collective creativity. The Cosmopolitics, Approach, Antimosity & The Freedom Writerz, and Right Of Way perform while a team of live artist paint a colossal canvas as the backdrop to the stage. The nocturnal festivities start Saturday November 13th at 9pm with a massive gallery displaying works by local artist Jordan Tarrant, Rick Dunwoody, Mike Hooper, Erok Johanssen, Kevin Smith, Tyler Moore, Eddie Reed, Angela Wright, Curtis Yazza Jr., ZRay, Hannah Blodgett, and Brook Henderson.
It's on November 13, and it's five bucks to check out 12 visual artists and 4 musical guests.
